Can a cert nursing assistant work in a pain management facility?

Yes you can.

A local hospital in my area hires them.

A certified nursing assistant can work almost anywhere that hires them as long as they are under the supervision of a registered nurse.

So go for that job!

Most likely your duties would include helping patients to the bathroom who stay overnight for pain treatments, bathing non-ambulatory patients, etc.

They need CNAs just as much as any other hospital. I don't know what state you live in but here are north carolinas regulations.

Employment MUST include ALL FOUR (4) of the following to qualify for listing renewal:

  3. Work is under the supervision of a registered nurse
  4. Total time worked equals eight (8) hours or more
