Is it normal to feel like you have the flu after having minor surgery?

I had an upper endoscopy and biospy

colonoscopy and multiple biospys today-recovered fine but tonight my throat is like on fire, my head hurts, I am sore all over and I am pooing blood(they did say this was to expected with the biopsies). I never vomited because of the meds they gave me but I was fulling knocked out.

Its also kind of hard to breathe-I don't wanna go back to the hospital unless I really have to but I am in a hotel and I don't know what to do? Any advice??????????? soon?

I had surgery last year and I felt exactly like this (other than the poring blood part..that's kind of scary).  Y

our throat is sore because they jammed a tube down it.  Your having a hard time breathing because of the anesthesia and your chest is sore.

Your head hurts from the anesthesia and your body is sore because you should see the things they do to bodies on the operating table.  lol  Just kidding.

Your body has been through A LOT today.  Give it time to heal.  As for the bleeding...do what ever the Doctors said!  If you get real short of breath go to the ER. Good luck and remember...you only get what you pay for :-).
