There are many opportunities out there. You have to ask yourself what you would like to do. Most online jobs are pretty much selling. People sell products. To make marginal gains, you would have to create a product that sells. Because if its something that can be bought, chances are, someone else is selling it already. Just think of it. Go search for something that you think nobody sells. Someone is selling it already. The best bet is just opening an online store to sell a certain service that you can do at home. It doesn't have to be a product by the way. I was asked by a rhodes scholar nominee to be admitted to a university. On his behalf, I was allowed entry.
He wrote essays for students wanting to go to college in prestigious colleges. He made 300 to 400 per essay. It didn't take him long to do it. He opened a website for it. It has since been closed down so that he could venture for other things. As for me, I go and buy and sell coins because I have top notch expertise in coins. I used to sell used jewelry on Ebay because I worked in a jewelry store. They would buy used jewelry and melt it. I in turn bought it off of them and sold them on Ebay after I refurbished them.
The opportunities out there are endless. But, most don't pay much. Its really hard to make a buck doing those affiliate programs. Some have made enormous amounts of money off of them, don't get me wrong, but the ones that do opened a website and advertised it like crazy. Then they tacked on like 20 different affiliate programs to get people to sign up. If one person didn't sign up on this one, they would sign up on another. I would suggest you opening a website to sell a product you create. It could be anything because once you find a product not too many people sell, then you just advertise your website to make a buck. Profits are all yours. But, its a long way to utopia if this is a first for you, let alone the people who still try to make a buck after soo many years of hard work. The first step is by finding the golden product. Then second step is making it happen.
eBooks just came out not too long ago, and a lot have made money. But, that gets over written unless you find something unique to write about that can be useful. How to make money doing ..etc etc is all played out. But, can still work if you have a unique way of doing it. Other then that, knitting, fixing cars, playing at the casino, etc etc is all over the place now. I improvise and visualize a lot of businesses, but most of them don't get out there because there are flaws in the business.
So its tough since I am a part time business consultant. I check for business policy flaws before I do something. In most cases, every business has a flaw. But, if you are good, you can make a business work. First off, affiliate programs are the worse because 99% of the people who sign up don't make money. And a good portion of these affiliate programs are scams. They sound good but don't work. They jip you without breaking the law. Others just rip you off, thus breaking the law. But, nobody catches them. So, dont try any of that. I have joined numerous affiliate programs. The only one that actually paid up was a really honest one.
If it payed, then chances are, they weren't making anything. And it was true, a year later, they closed down. See? Someone has to be ripped off in order to survive in that line of work. If not them then you. And its 99.99% you if someone gets ripped off. So be careful. Um, always go in it for yourself, and not for someone else. I would first offer advice about what you know most, thus creating the least over head. That way you can hedge against losses. I would consult on buying and selling coins, but I make much more just buying it and selling it myself on Ebay. So, just test something out on Ebay if you think you have the product. If it sells, you are good to go. There are soo many suggestions.
