Well basically guys usually want to hear nice stuff like you telling them i love you or you telling them that you miss them they just want to hear anything that doesn't lead to any drama.
Because you giving him drama will be the last thing they want to hear from you.
And they want to hear things like probably how cute they look or, well basically they will listen to anything you tell him that doesn't refer to drama.
