What does the Jewish Tradition have for someone who is not Jewish?

I heard that the Jewish Tradition does not encourage converts but has a unique path for those who aren't Jewish. Does anyone know what it is?.

Jews very definitely welcomes converts, and up until the Council of Nicaea, in the year 325, we Jews were very definitely missionaries. At the Council of Nicaea, Constantine gave the death penalty to any Jew caught missionizing, and to anyone listening to that Jew who was missionizing!

Of course, this did not stop people from converting to Judaism, and becoming Jews.

There is even a verse in the Christian's New Testament that describes the zealousness with which Jews used to missionize. See Matthew 23:15!

There are quite a number of places in the Hebrew Scriptures where Gd tells the Jews to convert all the nations of the earth to Judaism. Here is one quick example, from Psalm 96:

Psa 96:1  O sing unto the Etrnl a new song:

sing unto the Etrnl, ALL THE EARTH. 2  Sing

unto the Etrnl, bless his name; shew forth his

salvation from day to day. 3  DECLARE HIS

GLORY AMONG THE HEATHEN, HIS WONDERS AMONG ALL

THE PEOPLE. 4  For the Etrnl is great, and

greatly to be praised: HE IS TO BE AWED ABOVE

ALL GODS. 5  FOR ALL THE GODS OF THE NATIONS

ARE IDOLS, BUT THE ETRNL MADE THE

HEAVENS......9 O worship the Etrnl in the

beauty of holiness: fear before him, ALL THE

EARTH. 10  SAY AMONG THE HEATHEN THAT THE

ETRNL REIGNETH: the world also shall be

established that it shall not be moved: he

     shall judge the people righteously.

Now, yes, there is a "Unique Path" as you put it, for non-Jews, it is through the covenant Gd first established with Noah, but why settle for the lesser of two Great Things?
