I don't think you are ever too old.
People gradate from college at 77, people earn doctorates that late.
Most community college vocational or business students are older students.
In fact, most college faculty members like older students because they typically are more motivated to learn, understand why they are in college, and have the life experience to put what they learn into some perspective.
There are lots of options for older learners, as well.
Check with your local community college, they will have lots of information and opportunities for more training or education.
