Because that would be interfering with the right you have to your own body and what you can/can't do to it.
The high court has already ruled the government cannot tell you to take birth control or not have kids. This is part of that.
Once the right to dictate what you can/can't do with your own body is violated what is next?
Who can and can't be parents?
How they worship?
Stuff like that?
