Its John Crapper (but wait its really not)
The real name is William John Crapper
Not only did he invent the WC (water closet) Toilet
He made Faucets And Certain kind of pipes He had Alot to do with the plumbing field. The famous One he made as Most people remember is the WC with the Water tank was about 4 Foot above the bowl. And with a pull of the chain The water would rush down the pipe and fluse the WC down and away.
Now there are some great stories of the word crap If it was used 1000 years ago by the greeks But also there is a story of (John) When he was working on his WC and used it he Got some S**T on himself ( And just like if you hit yourself you might get mad and say something like gee dave your real smart)
As John did he said Crap And Back in the days S**T was well not a good work to use we needed a better word like Crap. Also not A little Hint If you ever find a True Crapper WC or Faucet KEEP IT!! You will be shocked on how much it is worth. You will not be saying holly crap you will be saying HOLY S**T!!
Now this story IS the one most go by and in the time line that this happened and the way society
was back then This would Have to be the Correct one. The other Ones are well just lets say BULLS**T
And as for his Name History has changed so much and people have changed it so much they forget there real names and what they Really did for us Unless it was someone like Edison.
But to go back more in time the Romans were the first On record as we know to have Running water and sewer systems. And hot Baths. The sewers were above ground and didn't smell good But you didn't have to walk in it.
